How many times a day are the words "I'm praying for you" just thrown around casually? I am for sure guilty of this. I have really begun to challenge myself in this new year to be genuine in my prayers. I truly believe that there is power in prayer, but when prayers are kept at surface level, it can become a habit to leave them there. When it comes to prayer, I've learned that it does not need to be perfect. Talk to God- tell him what you are praying for. God is always listening. Here is the best way to practice the mindset of genuine prayer. Pray for that person right there when they ask for prayer, write it down, or even send them a prayer. How have you prayed for someone recently?

1 Thessalonians 5:17

"Pray without ceasing."

Matthew 21:22

"And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."

Romans 12:12

"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Colossians 4:2

"Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving."
